The Yerba Mate La Merced Monte comes from the rainforest region, with fertile soil, abundant rains and high temperatures.
La Merced Monte has been dried by the most traditional methods and its settling lasted for around 12 to 15 months. The origins and the milling methods limit the production of yerba and make it becoming a top quality product with an incomparable taste. It tastes a bit bitter which is a sign of its provenance.
The yerba mate Merced Monte was distinguished with the quality Certificate: Alimentos Argentinos, una elección natural (Argentine food, a natural choice). This certification is awarded by the Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food in Argentina to products that assure the highest quality controls.
In order to keep the quality and taste, it is only commercialized in an exclusive construction paper package with a practical opening; protected inside by an airtight aluminized bag that keeps its unique characteristics intact.
Store in a cool and dry place.
