About our history

I am Guadalupe and I come from a small city named Bell Ville, just south of Cordoba, Argentina. I have been living in Denmark since 2009. I am an educated chef and pastry chef, so I love sweets like alfajores, dulce de leche, flan, panqueques and more! Due to my argentinean heritage I am born and raised with the mate culture and the social part of it was one of the things I have been missing the most from home.

Now I live in Copenhagen, with my Danish husband, our son and a girl on the way.

The story

of Antojos
The story behind this Webshop started a few years ago when I got pregnant with my first child and started to have “Antojos” (cravings), for things that I used to eat when I was in Argentina, like Criollitas cookies or drink mate cocido.

And now, in my second pregnancy, and during THE COVID-19 lockdown, my “Antojos” for dulce de leche became stronger, which was the reason why I decided to create this Webshop; to help fellow latinas and latinos to feel a bit less far from home by offering the best South American cravings. Products that I myself has been missing the past 11 years because they are so difficult to find on a daily basis. I will give everyone the opportunity to have a sip of your favorite yerba, eat a Bon o Bon or make yourself a Pasta Frola on a rainy day.

I will also love to share my passion of cooking with you. So, if you have lost your favorite abuela recipe, I will happily add one of my recipes to your order, so you can make your own homemade alfajor, flan or maybe a Chocolina cake.
